Funding Buffalo Independent Media Center
Indymedia has been in Buffalo for a decade, and this website has been running for 3 years. Over time our storage and bandwidth needs have grown. We currently have an outstanding hosting bill that covers the past year and a half. It's important that we pay our obligations, but we also want to grow even more.
The Buffalo Independent Media Center is a news source for Buffalo that's part of a wider Indymedia network. Indymedia is a worldwide organization dedicated to bringing light to news stories that larger news corporations neglect.

We have a goal of raising $500 from our supporters. This isn't a lot of money for an annual budget, but it will make a huge difference in what services we are capable of providing to the people of Buffalo. In addition to covering our hosting needs, these donations will give us the ability to buy and maintain better cameras, improve our classes and workshops, better protect the privacy and security of our journalists and the public, and bring our stories to more people both online and in print.
